New Engineer the future media campaign with Hamdi and Geo

Engineer the future has recently launched a new media campaign, with the purpose to motivate and inspire the Danish youth to choose a scientific career path in engineering.

Hamdi Ashur from Geo’s Environmental Engineering department in Copenhagen was selected for the campaign among candidates from Engineer the future’s 50 partners. She features in the new media campaign, which for example runs in relation to open house arrangements at the educational institutions.

 

25-year old Hamdi is M.Sc. Environmental Engineering from DTU. In Geo, she works with remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. In the future Hamdi dreams about being able to secure the same access to clean drinking water to all and to eliminate Denmark’s previous environmental culprits, which are posing a risk to the groundwater.
